This includes coordinating test drives, deliveries, and vehicle transfers.Team Leadership:Supervising and delegating tasks to other porters, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to dealership standards.Inventory Control:Maintaining accurate records of vehicle locations, condition, and any necessary documentation, such as stickers and keys.Vehicle Maintenance:Overseeing the cleaning and detailing of both the interior and exterior of vehicles, as well as performing basic maintenance like checking fluid levels and tire pressure.Customer Service:Assisting customers with vehicle inquiries, providing shuttle services, and ensuring vehicles are prepared for customer delivery.Lot Maintenance:Ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, including parking areas, service bays, and display areas.Safety and Security:Ensuring all vehicles are handled safely, preventing damage and maintaining lot security.Communication:Effectively communicating with other dealership staff, including sales, service, and management, to coordinate tasks and address any issues.In essence, the Head Porter acts as a central point of contact for all vehicle-related activities on the lot, ensuring smooth operations and a positive customer experience.
