
Maintenance and Reliability Branch Manager (Minnesota)

- Oversee priority work orders, scheduled repairs, and routine maintenance while ensuring safety protocols and bio-security measures are followed.
- Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to support operational needs while upholding safety, legal, and cost standards.
- Ensure timely and transparent communication of work orders status across field staff, production managers, customers, and administrative teams.
- Champion safety practices and ensure compliance with all regulatory and permit-required safety standards.
- Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and LEAN principles to improve facility performance, reduce costs, and support standardized maintenance procedures.
- Promote the proper use and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment to maximize lifespan and readiness.
- Conduct structured, outcome-driven meetings, lead by example in the field, and manage staff performance, coaching, and hiring.
- Track KPIs, communicate progress and challenges, support procurement decisions, and propose improvements to boost asset health and department effectiveness.
- 2-year degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in maintenance and reliability, with 2-4 years in a supervisory or lead technician capacity.
- Ability to manage maintenance operations and capital projects.
- Support and implement Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience using predictive maintenance tools (e.g., thermal imaging, vibration analysis).
- Preferred certifications: CRMP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional), Lean Six Sigma, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or equivalent credentials in reliability and continuous improvement.

- The targeted base pay range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
