As the Area Operations Director at Dental Wellness Centers of GA, you'll embody a holistic approach to leadership, where your role extends far beyond the title. You will be the linchpin that holds together the operations and leadership across all four of our general dentistry practice locations. This role demands a hands-on mentality, where you'll roll up your sleeves, get into the trenches, and lead by example. Your strategic vision will drive operational efficiency, while your direct involvement will ensure that every aspect of our practices operates at its best.Responsibilities:
  • Lead from the frontlines, providing hands-on guidance, coaching, and training to practice teams
  • Dive deep into the operational details, managing Profit & Loss (P&L), staff scheduling, payroll, and accounts payable
  • Ensure seamless patient experiences and satisfaction across all locations
  • Collaborate closely on marketing efforts, leveraging your insights to drive growth
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Manage professional licenses and certifications, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance
  • Take ownership of safety procedures and regulations, ensuring the well-being of both patients and staff
  • Embrace any additional duties or challenges that come your way, demonstrating your commitment to the success of our practices
Qualifications:
  • Willingness to travel between four locations (50%)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (bachelors degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience with customer interaction
  • 5 - 7 years in a professional environment
  • 3 years of dental office management or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Carestack preferred
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of P&L management and labor laws
  • Adherence to regulatory guidelines (OSHA, HIPAA, CDC)

Work Environment/Conditions:
  • Full-time employment schedule (approximately 40+ hours per week)
  • Flexibility for extended hours and travel (up to 50%)
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs. and withstand prolonged sitting/standing
  • Exposure to potentially hazardous materials
  • Compliance with appropriate work attire and safety standards
  • Travel to four locations
