Key product segments include content and curriculum, classroom tools, and play & learn, serving infant through Early Childhood Education.Our rapidly expanding sales department is seeking a dynamic individual to join us as an Inside Sales Account Manager. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic professional who is goal-driven and excited to collaborate with their teams.Based in our Shelton, CT office, you will drive business growth in your assigned territory. You will call on clients in the private sector encompassing a variety of institutions such as early childhood development centers, after-school programs, and associated channels.Responsibilities include nurturing client relationships, as well as effectively managing existing clients within our target markets.**100% onsite position based in our Shelton, CT office.**Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with both existing and prospective clients through proactive outreach efforts.
  • Execute a substantial volume of outbound sales calls to establish a robust client portfolio within the designated territory.
  • Exceed daily activity benchmarks and performance metrics, consistently striving for excellence.
  • Work diligently to surpass quarterly sales targets, demonstrating a commitment to achieving exceptional results.
  • Employ various strategies, including leveraging territory knowledge, conducting research, and utilizing company resources such as catalogs and our website, to drive sales growth.
  • Advocate for the full range of company products and services to meet the specific needs of each account.
  • Formulate comprehensive growth strategies tailored to the requirements of established clients.
  • Gain proficiency in understanding and articulating the value proposition of our products within the educational sector, with a particular emphasis on Early Childhood Education.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of sales experience, preferably B2C or B2B products or services.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales quota.
  • Eagerness to learn the fast-paced and growing Early Childhood market.
  • Interest in growth and upward mobility.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
