We’re looking for a Lab Pack Chemist to join our environmental services team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe identification, packaging, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, all while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.What You’ll Do As A Lab Pack ChemistIdentify, classify, and segregate hazardous and non-hazardous wastes for proper disposal.Perform lab packing of chemical wastes in compliance with DOT, RCRA, EPA, and OSHA standards.Prepare, package, and label drums, lab packs, and bulk containers for transport.Operate company vehicles to transport hazardous materials to approved facilities (CDL preferred).Accurately complete manifests, labels, and required documentation.Conduct site audits to ensure environmental compliance.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.What We’re Looking For In A Lab Pack ChemistBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain).Working knowledge of DOT, RCRA, and EPA hazardous waste regulations.CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement preferred.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.What We Offer For A Lab Pack Chemist$60,000 to $85,000 depending on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and retirement planCareer advancement opportunities in the environmental industryApply now for the Lab Pack Chemist role!joseph.parhamiv@gogpac.com(469) 868 2398
