Position Overview:BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led medical group actively recruiting for a board-certified/board-eligible General Surgeon to join our General Surgery team located at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Experience is preferred, but newly graduated physicians are welcome to apply. Bartow, Florida is in a growing community conveniently nestled between Tampa and Orlando, with a dynamic clinical team of nurses and doctors. This role is focused on covering the on-call needs of the hospital while also looking to build a general surgery practice. The right doctor will enjoy the chance to operate independently as one of two primary surgeons providing care to the community.Our practice consists of:

Shared call schedule of approximately 10-15 days per month
Commencement bonus paid upon employment
Call is based out of Bartow Regional Medical Center (88 beds)
Modern and well-equipped community hospital with demonstrated volume
Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience are encouraged to apply
Excellent operating room and resources with a supportive administration
