Jefferson Wells is hiring a Finance Operations Consultant to support a premier hotel client in Los Angeles. This high-impact role focuses on revamping and optimizing financial operations, with a strong emphasis on Accounts Receivable (AR) and event billing. - Standardize AR and Finance Procedures: Develop and document consistent billing processes.
- Banquet Event Orders Process Implementation: Create a structured review process for BEO.
- Event Resume Review: Establish a repeatable process for reviewing event resumes.
- Deposit Scheduling: Implement a deposit tracking system based on event contracts.
- Collections Oversight: Maintain detailed collection logs and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry (hotel or event-based operations required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
- Strong expertise in finance operations, accounts receivable, and event billing
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement financial processes from scratch
- Comfortable working on-site and collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Great Plains or similar ERP systems (required)
