Description :Position Overview:Assure each student in High school to post-secondary education in the WAY Home Department has an educational plan which meets their individual needs, including school or other educational placement, transportation to school and supplemental educational services. In conjunction with the Caseworker, Social Worker and School Counselor/Therapist formulate and implement an education plan for each of those students. Coordinate educational services including tutoring and other enrichment services for youth. Assist with advocacy of school placement, transportation and supplemental educational services are in place for all youth within Residential Treatment.Position Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field. Two years’ experience in Education or Child Welfare. Basic computer skill and good written and verbal communication skills required.
