8. FEMA certification required after hire (ED ONLY).
9. Minimum one year experience in pre-certification, registration, hospital, clinics, or physician office environment preferred.Job Duties:1. Serves as a resource person and role model for registration staff.
2. Handles escalated situations and interactions requiring expert knowledge.
3. Helps with the coaching of staff.
4. Participates in testing of new workflows and or operational changes.
5. Becomes the System Management Expert in workflows and daily operations.
6. Participates in interviewing and selection of new staff.
7. Maintains current knowledge of insurance requirements, benefit provisions and pre-certification Requirements. Participates in quality improvement.
8.
