Security OfficerSecurity Officer- Full Time/ Rotating ShiftBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + TogetherWork location: Texas Health Huguley Hospital: 11801 South Fwy, Burleson, TX 76028Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Rotating ShiftDepartment Highlights:Team based environmentMultiple shifts available to fit your scheduleUniforms and Duty Gear is providedOpportunities to advanceHere’s What You NeedEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required AndAssociate’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field is preferredExperienceIf Texas Private Security Level 2, 2+ years of experience preferredIf Texas Private Security Level 3, 1+ years of experience preferredLicenses and CertificationsDL - Drivers License (Class C and insurable) upon hire required AndACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 days required AndNCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 days required AndCSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification 120 days required AndTASER Certification- Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 days requiredWhat You Will DoPatrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.Locks and opens doors according to schedules.Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.Maintains compliance with Texas Health Police policies.Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.Fills out incident/offense report forms and composes narratives.Utilizes critical thinking skills and provides the appropriate level of force for the situationResponds to and activates the appropriate emergency response codeInteracts with and provides assistance to Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency staff as requiredAdditional perks of being a Texas Health Security Officer:Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.At Texas Health, our people make this a great place to work every day.
