Job Description:Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc, a Marsden Holding Company is a Non-Union Mechanical Contractor. We are currently looking for experienced Welder/PipefittersThe ideal candidate will have 3 - 5+ years of experience in commercial welding and pipefitting. General knowledge requirements:Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors during all weather conditions.Work may be performed at heights above 20 feet in the air.Must have reliable transportation to/from the jobs sites and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.Requirements:
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in commercial welding and pipefitting.
  • VRF certification is preferred.
  • For safety reasons, basic English proficiency is required
  • A pre-employment drug screen is required.
  • You must have a valid driver's license.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification.
  • Journeyman License is a plus!
General knowledge requirements:
  • Ability to read, understand, and install according to blueprints.
  • Ability to lay out and fit pipe together.
  • Ability to weld pipe in all positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)
  • Ability to weld a variety of pipe (stainless, carbon steel, etc.)
  • Ability to sweat and braze copper.
  • Ability to perform installation of hangers and supports.
  • Ability to use roll groove machine.
Job Duties:
  • Cuts pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine.
  • Threads pipe using threading machine.
  • Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machine.
  • Tests piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.
  • Observes and complies with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as required.
