- Successfully motivate and mentor Commercial Sales Manager, VRF/Ductless Regional Manager, Inside Sales Engineer Manager and Inside Sales Engineers and Commercial Inside Sales Reps to achieve monthly sales and performance objectives.
- Develop and manage delivery of on-going training and education programs for sales team.
- Partner with company regional leadership to devise and deploy sales objectives and goals for the assigned market sales team, including sales targets, budget preparation, margin enhancement, and business development.
- Ability to develop sales growth plans, identifies business development opportunities, and manages margins with your sales team.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with Commercial customers and Mechanical Contractors.
- Act as an advocate for the Commercial team, the CE Central Plains Region and Carrier Enterprise.
- Develop strong working relationship with Carrier, Carrier Enterprise and Watsco.
- Minimum 10 plus years of experience in sales and solid technical experience.
- Strong leader with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for sales.
- Previous experience in a sales leadership capacity preferably within the HVAC or distribution industry preferable.
- Must possess and illustrate ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Deep domain knowledge of the commercial HVAC marketplace with an emphasis on the Kansas City market.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Strong executive leadership presence and business acumen.
- Must be a self-starter, articulate and possess excellent presentation, phone and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications: Power Point, Excel and Word.
