Contract Religous Coordinator 2025

• Services include: planning, developing, coordinating, and supervising inmate religious activities;
• Recruiting, training, and supervising religious volunteers;
• Adhering to department policy in handling inmate religious requests regardless of inmate religious belief;
• Manage religious property for inmates;
• Managing the ordering and disposition of individual inmate religious property;
• Oversight of inmate religious diet requests and inmate adherence to approved religious diets;
• Oversight of the chapel area;
• Emergency family notifications;
• Coordinating with the other WDOC institutions to maintain departmental continuity with regard to inmate religious practices.

• Knowledge of religious practices across a wide scope of religious affiliations

• Knowledge of sacred items across a wide scope of religious affiliations

• FLSA: Non-exempt
• This position is At-Will and may end at any time without notice. The successful applicant will be eligible for Health, Dental, and Life Insurance with a Single rate contribution premium to offset costs.
• This position requires 5 weeks at the WDOC Training Academy paid for by WDOC.
