Visit and follow us on , and .The RoleWe're looking for a strong social media specialist with a knack for creativity and the ability to engage and grow multiple target audiences through different forms of content (social media, press releases, blog posts, events, customer collateral, etc.). The ideal candidate will be a storyteller by nature and have proven expertise in crafting compelling and emotional content that engages customers, prospects, and the overall community. You will be responsible for the creation, management, and publication of content across core channels of the business, and are able to balance creativity with organization and process. Strong candidates will have a good understanding of the cloud, as well as data protection and security technologies, to craft clever, accurate, and engaging content.This is a net-new role with the goal to drive enhanced brand awareness among customers and prospects, and the opportunity to expand how we tell stories across various channels, including social media, the website, and the blog. This role will focus primarily on social media, and will support other content areas as needed.Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and copyedit original content that will be published across various platforms, including social media, the website, blog, email campaign outreach, events, and more.
  • Collaborate across a cross-functional marketing team to deliver accurate, creative, and relevant content to our target audiences, and provide copyediting support as needed.
  • Participate in the development and execution of content and social strategy.
  • Monitor and report on metrics of social campaigns and posts, as well as manage and respond to social community engagement as needed.
  • Manage Druva's content library and maintain current content in support of sales.
  • Write for search engine optimization (SEO) and incorporate keywords where needed.
What We're Looking For
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated ability working cross-functionally in social media, content marketing or marketing communications, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Excellent writing and copyediting skills, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Expertise distilling highly complex concepts and language down to digestible language that is easy to understand across audiences.
  • Creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-motivated, with a curiosity to uncover compelling stories.
  • Driven, self-starter attitude that knows how to balance multiple priorities while delivering high-quality content across teams.
  • Experience with a variety of content mediums, including: written, graphic, webinar, web/email, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Business, English, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a high-growth, pre-IPO startup.
  • Strong technical acumen and an understanding of cloud, AI, and data protection/security technologies.
  • Team player mentality with an ability to wear multiple hats when needed.
  • Editorial mindset with the insight to predict audience preferences.
  • Action-oriented with a focus on efficiency and results.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $135,000 and $189,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program, including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
