Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a full-time on-site Director of Sales to join our team. The Courtyard is a Marriott brand full-service hotel conveniently located in Uptown Fayetteville and offers smartly designed guest rooms that attract corporate and leisure travelers to NW Arkansas. The property also has three meeting rooms, ample lobby space, and an inviting outdoor area, and is in close proximity to many corporate offices, sporting venues, and University of Arkansas.The director will be responsible for the development and implementation of the total sales effort of the hotel, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction. Other responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in order to produce group business, including room sales, F&B sales, and catering/banquet services;
  • Attending networking events, developing and maintaining good relationships with organizations;
  • Attending local community meetings and conventions in order to generate sales;
  • Conducting site tours;
  • Developing contracts and follow-up with clients
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organized, detailed, and a self-starter
  • Display initiative and analytical skills;
  • Team player, professional, and strong computer skills;
  • Hotel Sales Experience is preferred with Marriott Brand and Fosse PMS experience desirable.
Salary: From 55,000 per year with bonus opportunitiesBackground check will be completed on all applicants
