POSITION SUMMARY: The Hotel Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of the hotel, responsible for overseeing all aspects of property management to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience. This role involves directing daily operations, managing staff, optimizing financial performance, and upholding brand standards. The Hotel Manager fosters a culture of excellence, hospitality, and accountability, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the hotel’s commitment to superior service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals by preparing and delivering weekly reports to leadership, highlighting key metrics and performance insights.Serve as system owner for guest platforms, ensuring optimal utilization and performance.Manage financial responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.Conduct daily property walks to monitor cleanliness, safety, and overall guest readiness.Develop and maintain strategic marketing relationships and contribute to campaign planning and execution.Ensure property compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Oversee the process to hire, train, manage performance, and overall people operations in accordance with company guidelines and HR partnerships to foster a high-performing team culture.Cultivate and manage vendor, internal, and external relationships to support operational needs and service excellenceLead project management initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.All other duties as assigned, based on business need.EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management.Certificate(s) or License(s): none required.Years of experience: previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: up to 50% local travel or potential of 5% out of state travel.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.Occasionally sits and lifts up to 50 lbs.Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.Analytical/Critical Thinking - The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths, weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems.Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Originality - The ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about products, services or situations, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of Hotel Manager. The Hotel Manager will be required to stand for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work in all elements of the outdoor environment.
