- As an Energy Engineer Co-op, you will learn to interpret and teach customers how to understand their utility bill, how to connect their building operations to their organization’s mission, and how to talk about both in a way that compels the customer to action.
- You support the sales team by benchmarking potential customers’ buildings compared to industry peers and quantifying what is possible for the customer if they partner with us.
- You support the day-to-day fulfillment of our Intelligent Services agreements by acting as an integral member of an account team; utilizing utility bills to update energy visuals, ENERGYSTAR scores, and carbon emissions. Your opportunities to learn in the field, under the supervision of your mentor will include customer consultation meetings and energy audit walkthroughs.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferred disciplines: Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial.
- Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- This role requires on-site in-office work to foster collaboration and learning with teammates. Opportunities exist to convert to Hybrid and/or relocate to another office in the Southeast region depending on the candidate and business needs.
- Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, ability to provide proof of insurance, and have no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
- DUI in the previous 3 years
- Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
