This role will be full-time, nights; days vary, 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.; three (3), 12-hr shifts per week; rotating weekends & Holidays.Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Clinical Technician 2 - Medical Surgical Job Responsibilities:

(2 Mins) * Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
  • ADLs
  • Blood Draws
  • IV Insertion
  • Catheter / Foley insertion
  • Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
  • Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
  • Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  • Virtual modules
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM
  • On-unit training with department hired into (times TBD)
  • May perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program and/or two years of nursing school completed
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
