
Technical Sales Representative -Kits & Programs

- Provides timely, reliable, and courteous, support and information to Customers, all Sales reps and Agents for purposes of quoting and order processing for engineered kits, upgrades, parts programs etc.
- Involves proactive communication and project management with Customers and all internal departments.
- Assists with establishing, developing, promoting, and selling, Belvac Engineered kits and replacement parts, machinery upgrades and rebuilds, machinery conversions.
- Works within, and strives to improve Belvac's documented Quality Management System (ISO) as it pertains to the job requirements.
- The ability to project manage multiple customer orders and quote activities at the same time
- Prepare timely and accurate quotations for engineered kits, programs, upgrades, etc.
- Research past customer sales orders as necessary for creating accurate engineered kits quotations for pricing.
- Assist Kit engineer when necessary providing all documentation forms required (request for engineering form).
- Process sales orders according to ISO procedures to ensure accurate customers' account status, proper review of PO, payment terms, bill-to and ship-to addresses, and shipping instructions.
- Coordinates with shipping regarding: any necessary packaging requirements, and that shipments occur according to Belvac's Sales process procedures.
- Ensures through the life of an order or contract that payments are made per quoted terms. This may at times include collection of past due payments and/or processing Letters of Credit.
- Perform order entry for all engineered kit sales orders and other orders as necessary.
- Prepare pricing analysis with Director of Global Sales Operations
- Other assigned duties at the discretion of the Director of Global Sales Operations
- Actively follows up on quotations to secure an order.
- Respond to customer inquiries and ensure Belvac understands customer's requirements.
- Coordinates with kit engineer and customer to ensure proper scope of work is accurate
- Provide support to Coordinator, Spare Parts Delivery when customers do not have part numbers
- Coordinate with engineering & sales to assist in the creation of pricing structures for ease of quoting and selling.
- Complete CFB's that will constructively improve a process or solve a problem.
- Be alert and aware when opportunities for kit/program development is required or advantageous
- Attend weekly scheduling meetings to communicate and review scheduled ship dates, customer request dates, and volume of work for scheduling upcoming orders.
- Actively participate in promotion & marketing of kits & programs
- Attend weekly Sales meeting to give updates on current quote activities and opportunities.
- Create & implement a plan with the customer as necessary to close a sale.
- Must have ability to read and understand Mechanical Drawings
- Must be able to read and understand Bills of Materials to multi-level
- Aptitude for mechanical assembly of machine components
- Organizational; proficient in computer & mfg systems including Microsoft Office
- Organized in data collection
- Able to manage several tasks and projects at one time
- Able to coordinate multi-departmental activities.
