2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AMResponsibilitiesDesign minor electrical circuits and test/troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used in machine and equipment controlTroubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuitsInstall electrical and electronic controls by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprintsPossess knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systemsPerform basic mechanical repairsCarry out tasks typically performed by lower-level classifications when requiredProvide direction to team members in lower classifications as neededDismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armaturesInstall and monitor electrical equipment performance, identifying hazards, adjustments, or necessary replacementsInterpret blueprints, and work from sketches or verbal instructionsLayout, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, equipment, wiring, and services including panels, breakers, and conduitMount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits per diagram specificationsRepair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instrumentsPerform various tasks as directed by the Group LeaderQualificationsTwo-year Associate degree and 2–4 years of relevant work experienceProficiency in using a computer to search for parts and enter information into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Position RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods, sit, stoop, bend, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterityAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (as verified by a pre-employment physical)Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkEmployee Benefits Include:Stable and growing work environmentAnnual social events for employees and their familiesPaid vacation in the first yearTuition reimbursementAnnual perfect attendance awardsSafety recognition programMedical plan with company-paid Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)Dental and vision insurance plans401(k) retirement plan11 company-paid holidaysCompany-paid life and AD&D insurance, with optional additional coverageCompany-paid long-term disability (LTD) insuranceAnnual wage increasesMUST HAVE:Associate degree and 2–4 years of relevant experienceAbility to use a CMMS for parts searches and work entryExperience designing and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic control circuitsExperience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprintsKnowledge of electrical power and water distribution systemsAbility to perform mechanical repairsExperience interpreting blueprints and working from sketches or verbal instructions
