You will independently plan and execute social events, visits, and tours for both distinguished and ordinary visitors to SWFPAC.
You will compose correspondence and make contact with individuals at Department of the Navy, Federal and State offices as well as foreign and local government offices.
You will research regulations and other sources to determine proper protocol procedures pertinent to visiting dignitaries such as seating, military honors, entertainment, comparative positions and titles, etc.
You will prepare invitations, distribute itineraries to appropriate offices and personnel and continuously monitor the project and coordinate changes as required.
You will coordinate with appropriate activities for facility, menu, parking signs, podiums, flags, etc.; assures setup complies with appropriate protocol etiquette and make certain the function proceeds as planned.
You will assist the assigned Project Officer in planning, coordinating and executing all other official and social functions hosted by members of the Command.
You will perform photographic support for all command events to also include individual photos such as Officer Fitreps, Sailor of the Quarter/Year, Quarter Deck Organization, etc..
You will refer telephone call and visitors to the proper person or provide necessary information; receive and distributes mail; maintain a variety of files; perform mathematical computation for social functions; and order publications and supplies.
You will coordinate the Onboarding of new hires from post pre-employment requirements completion to Entrance on Duty (EOD) and post EOD management.
You will maintain complete electronic records on the status of recruit and onboarding actions to respond to inquiries on these matters.
You will obtain release dates of transferring employees, advising management officials of standard time-frames and notify administrative points of contact regarding EOD dates of new employees and ensures all OM Tasks are complete.
