At DOOR, you’ll help shape a future where buildings anticipate needs, operate effortlessly, and quietly improve life for everyone inside.What will you do?Device Activation and Preparation for Deployment:○ Activate and test new devices to ensure full functionality.○ Update firmware and provision devices to the correct property and access points.○ Ensure properties and devices are correctly configured in our system.○ Label devices and boxes with accurate location information to streamline the onsiteinstallation process.○ Partner with the Senior Solutions Engineer to ensure installers have everything theyneed to execute flawlessly in the field.Device Returns and Refurbishment (RMA):○ Receive and inspect returned devices for faults or damages.○ Assess devices for refurbishment or dismantling for spare parts.○ Perform necessary repairs and testing to prepare refurbished devices for redeployment.○ Maintain accurate records of all RMA activities and device statuses.What do you bring to DOOR?Technical Skills:○ Knowledge of electronics, troubleshooting, and basic repair techniques.○ Familiarity with firmware updates, device provisioning, and technical configurations is a plus.○ Proficiency with labeling and inventory management systems.Attention to Detail:○ Meticulous in following processes and documenting activities.○ Ability to maintain accuracy in configuring and labeling devices.Team-Oriented:○ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.○Commitment to supporting the larger goal of delivering exceptional customer experiences.Preferred Qualifications:○ Degree or certification in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field from a vocational or technical school.○ Experience in electronics testing, repairs, or technical support roles.DOOR understands that job requirements sometimes exclude people who identify with historically marginalized groups from applying to jobs for which they are qualified.
