
Sr Director Technical Operations

- Lead all engineering activities to ensure compliance with project schedules, repairs and budget objectives and fully aligned with the program scope of work and technical requirements
- Direct Engineering and Repairs team support activities in Air Methods operations.
- Create and lead the necessary management cadence and KPIs to monitor overall departmental performance and to drive continuous improvements
- Create & manage all cross-functional DMC processes essential to the organization’s business continuity, cost, and efficiency
- Support commercial contract activity by actively participating in bid review and approval process and ensuring reliability and timeliness of proposals issued to AMC
- Monitor component exchange and repairs ROs for compliance to company policy. Balance needs with costs and aircraft ISR. Develop & lead solutions to minimize cost
- Communicate decisions and/or business case analysis on repair process to affected departments prior to implementing actions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering from four-year college or university; fifteen (15) or more years related experience and/or training
- 10 years’ experience in engineering management in a substantive airframe related organization
- 10 years’ experience managing a wide range of projects from small to large
- 10 years’ experience in aircraft or component delivery operations
- Experience with quality management systems and/or regulatory compliance desired
- Experience in project/program management preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement
- Deep understanding of repair processes, vendor capabilities and time requirements for aircraft maintenance checks.
- Ability to manage people in different project teams and functional roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
