
Principal Specialist - Program Controls

- Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines including the following:
- Earned Value reporting.
- Baseline Planning and Development.
- Estimates at Completion (EACs).
- Risk and Opportunity development and tracking.
- External report development.
- Financial forecasting and cash management.
- FP&A responsibilities: Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Planning.
- Ad hoc analysis.
- You will also support various customer and senior management level meetings.
- You will be the lead analyst of multiple programs.
- Typically requires A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with financial systems (SAP, APEX, AO) or similar processes.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
- Excellent experience with forecasting and budgeting.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and ability to communicate effectively to various stake holders and senior leadership.
- Ability to perform independently and in team environments.
- Earned value Management knowledge (SPI/CPI/TCPI/IEAC/VAR).
- Experience in interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, etc.) in program production.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead teams to success.
- Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis concepts, related systems, and processes.
- Strong ability to self-manage / prioritize workload.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls.
- On-Site: Employees who are working in On-Site roles will work primarily onsite with opportunity to work remotely. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

- Travel expectations are 5-10% of time
