- Design, implement and manage intake and referral systems that improve access, the client experience, and the delivery of social services.
- Prioritize the user experience by ensuring Connective's technology is intuitive, efficient, and accessible for both clients and the staff supporting them.Focus on the user experience.
- Work closely with tech and data teams to translate user and program needs into technical requirements and successful product development and implementation.
- Plan and deliver programs. Set objectives, develop project plans, manage timelines and budgets, and escalate risks when needed.
- Organize cross-functional work. Coordinate with teammates, manage vendors, and train partner staff to support program delivery.
- Use data for improvement. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities, test solutions, and refine programs.
- Apply Agile methods. Manage programs with an adaptive, iterative approach to ensure continuous improvement.
- Understand the priorities, capacities, and relationships of the local network of social service organizations to proactively solve problems and remove barriers.
- Facilitate change management and co-design processes. Help partner organizations co-create and adopt new systems and processes through a collective action approach.
- Manage partnerships. Build and strengthen relationships, represent Connective with stakeholders, and recommend strategies for growth.
- Develop new initiatives. Identify opportunities, scope projects, define deliverables, and recommend staffing and resource plans to ensure successful execution.
- Equity Champion: Center the voices of historically marginalized communities and act against systemic barriers.
- User-Centered Designer: Apply (or be eager to learn) design thinking, empathize with those navigating complex systems, and communicate clearly to improve the end-user experience.
- Product-Minded: Translate program requirements into clear technical specifications and work with technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Systems Thinker: See the big picture while managing the details that make programs succeed, connecting daily tasks to broader objectives and articulating priorities to stakeholders.
- Data-Informed Problem Solver: Use data and analysis tools to understand issues, make decisions, and present insights that drive action.
- Collaborative Leader: Build trust, facilitate partnerships, align diverse stakeholders toward common goals, and foster open, constructive dialogue.
- Adaptable Doer: Navigate ambiguity, pivot quickly, and deliver results in dynamic environments while keeping partners informed and engaged.
- 4+ years in program, project, design management, or strategy roles, including full life cycle management of tech-enabled programs (e.g., CRM systems).
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel formulas, lookups, PivotTables) and ability to translate program needs into technical requirements.
- Proven success collaborating with senior-level stakeholders across nonprofit, government, and/or philanthropic sectors.
- Experience facilitating inclusive, user-centered processes and driving implementation.
- A plus:
- Experience in disaster recovery/response or large-scale, high-volume social service delivery (e.g., rental assistance, COVID-era financial assistance).
- Human-centered design or participatory process facilitation, with practical implementation experience.
- Familiarity with Houston-area community networks, social service systems, or resilience initiatives.
- Competitive Compensation of $73,660-$95,606 along with annual bonuses, is offered based on your contributions and performance.
