
AHMG Emergency Medicine Physician

- Attendance is expected unless post-nights/swings, on-duty, engaged in other clinical, teaching, or administrative duties, or on PTO/vacation/leave.
- Develop and deliver a minimum of three core lectures per year
- Lead a minimum of three Journal Club or Follow-Up sessions per year.
- Participate and contribute to monthly small group sessions, follow-up conferences, procedural teaching sessions, and simulation sessions and Resident Professional Development
- Participate in at least one academic project while serving as core faculty. This may include research projects, case reports, subject reviews, book chapters, FOAM med, and active publications.
- Contribute at least one scholarly work/project each year towards the ACGME EM RRC requirement for academic productivity.
- Represent the residency program locally and nationally at professional conferences, through committee work, policy work, multi-institutional collaborations, and other speaking/teaching engagements.
- Provide timely and specific feedback to residents at the conclusion of each clinical shift.
- Complete written evaluations in the Residency Management System (New Innovations)
- Contribute to the continual improvement of evaluation methods and tools.
- Complete the ACGME Annual Faculty Survey.
- Participate in professional development on an annual basis that improves their performance as educators, in quality improvement, in fostering their own and residents’ well-being, and inpatient care based on their practice-based learning and improvement efforts.
