As an Employee Health & Benefits Client Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Producers and the client service team by managing all aspects of client accounts. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and carriers. You will be responsible for assisting with renewals, ensuring compliance, coordinating enrollment activities, and providing high-quality client service.Work Performed
  • Assist Employee Health & Benefits Producers and team with servicing existing accounts in all capacities, including renewals.
  • Keep production team fully informed of pertinent activities related to client accounts.
  • Set up and maintain accurate and organized customer files.
  • Coordinate and participate in periodic client and vendor meetings.
  • Develop client communication materials, including Benefit Enrollment Guides.
  • Review Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), agreements, and contracts for accuracy.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee enrollment meetings.
  • Provide clients with resources related to HIPAA, COBRA, FLEX, ERISA, and other compliance requirements.
  • Assist policyholders with claim forms, policy changes, cancellations, and related needs.
  • Verify accuracy and completion of enrollment applications and submit to carriers.
  • Manage all facets of new client implementations or additional coverage rollouts for existing clients.
Job Requirements
  • Previous experience in employee health & benefits, insurance, or client management preferred.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, compliance requirements (HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, etc.), and enrollment processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Must be able to obtain insurance license
  • Experience with Employee Benefits insurance is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with agency workflows and management systems (e.g., Applied Epic) is a plus
