
Labor & Employment Attorney (1-10+ Years' Experience)

- Provide legal counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, employee classification, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and workplace safety.
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including state and federal court cases, arbitration, and mediation.
- Draft and review employment policies, employee handbooks, and employment agreements.
- Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist with labor relations, including union organizing, collective bargaining, and grievance handling.
- Conduct internal investigations related to employee complaints, harassment, and misconduct.
- Negotiate settlements and dispute resolutions on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and file motions, responses, and other legal documents related to employment litigation.
- Stay current on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure clients’ compliance and provide proactive legal advice.
- Train and educate clients on legal best practices in the workplace, including employee management and compliance
- 1+ years of experience in litigation or employment law.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload, from initial consultation through resolution.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong writing and research skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in CA.
