POSITION OVERVIEW: The DevOps Engineer role will contribute to the administration and continuous improvement of the software security and vulnerability management tools used by Asurion’s global enterprise. They will be expected to partner with teams throughout the global organization to assist with onboarding them into the tools and collecting feedback on the user experience. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required Education and Experience • 2+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering and CI/CD technologies and processes • 2+ years of experience with Python, Groovy, Node.js, or Java • 2+ years hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google • The perseverance to drive hard problems to resolution under supervised guidance • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field Preferred Education and Experience • Experience with SIEM tools, machine learning technologies and/or penetration testing a plus • 2+ years practical experience with code release management, deployment automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines; past work with Jenkins, Artifactory, Atlassian Jira, and Git repositories are all plusses Who we are: Asurion helps people do more with their technology and stay connected.
