Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the inbound flow of materials from suppliers.
- Determining material requirements based on production schedules and project demands.
- Coordinating with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to ensure material availability and efficient workflow.
- Developing and maintaining specifications for new contract orders.
- Managing the tactical planning and supply of externally sourced materials such as raw materials, MRO, finished goods, and prototype components.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve material issues and ensure timely deliveries.
- Analyzing supply chain data to identify and implement process improvements.
- Supporting launch activities by ensuring timely and accurate material planning and delivery.
- A degree in a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in materials planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented process improvers who consistently strive to enhance and streamline workflows.
- Critical thinkers who naturally identify ways to simplify, standardize, and automate processes for increased efficiency.
- Strategic thinkers who enjoy interpreting data and trends to support planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and other business insights.
