The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) works in partnership with local communities to support people with developmental disabilities in living, learning, and working in their communities. APD provides critical services and support for customers with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential. The Agency serves people with spina bifida, autism, Down syndrome, children ages 3-5 at high risk of developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, Prader-Willi syndrome, Phelan-McDermid syndrome, and intellectual disabilities. This is to include but not limited to the following:Ensure textures, temperatures and consistencies are correct before portioning food items at tray line station during the assembly of meal trays.Assist with preparation of meals including but not limited to opening cans, using equipment to prepare textures, following recipes to prepare a meal item.Ensure proper amount of food has been issued to tray line.Ensure work area is always clean and sanitized. Hair nets and gloves must always be worn.Operate dish washing machine during the cleaning and sanitizing of serving equipment.Monitor machine chemicals and record temperatures in log.Report variances to supervisor when discovered.Work pot room as assigned.Assemble grocery and snack items.Prepare salads according to schedule and prep food items for tray line as assigned.Perform specific cleaning duties and cashier duties as assigned.Assist with deliveries.Perform other related duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
