- Hybrid work schedule in Dallas, TX (in office 2 days, remote 3 days)

- Leading and managing the department staff and supporting them as needed with their work.
- Partnering with the CFO to coordinate and managing the annual budgeting process, working across departments to ensure alignment with strategic and financial goals.
- Supporting the CFO in leading staff training initiatives and ensuring effective cross-training and backup coverage across the team.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures that ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar accounting position.
- Preferred CPA however not required.
- Deep understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
- Experience reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of the general ledger.
- Experience recording intercompany transactions and preparing financials.
- Understanding of audit standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Bill.com preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting timely deadlines.
- Ability to train, mentor, and provide effective feedback to accounting/finance team members.
- Detail-oriented, thorough, and organized.
