Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other defensive equipment as required by the post profile.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities during the shift.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience or possess a college degree.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in the job state and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
