We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in our facility. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, is able to read blueprints and technical diagrams, and is committed to working safely and efficiently. Reporting directly to the House Electric Supervisor, this position is based in Millington, Maryland.

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with codes, drawings and safety regulations
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Install and maintain electrical panels, lighting systems, conduit, cable tray and controls
- Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit and pull wires
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to minimize downtime
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred
- State-issued electrician license or journeyman certification preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
