- Accurately pick parts from designated storage locations based on work orders, pick lists, or inventory requests.
- Build and stage skids (pallets) with picked materials, ensuring proper stacking, wrapping, and labeling for safe transport.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy before staging or shipping.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including pick zones and staging areas.
- Count and adjust finished and raw materials in company stores – Will coordinate with process owners to establish root cause for variance and correct the reason.
- Transfer of Kanban bins/cards from/to the appropriate issuer or recipient.
- Maintain several point-of-use inventory locations within the workplace.
- Transfer and placement of finished goods from department queues to material stores
- Evaluation of material stores to ensure product location accuracy
- Documentation of shelving with labeling or other unique identification means
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, record, and report shortages to Quality Control
- Determines methods of storage, locations and keep records of material issued.
- Moves or transports material or supplies to QC inspection area for critical inspection or to the production department.
- Checks inventory of materials and supplies.
- Operates forklift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping platform to storage or work area.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Understanding of inventory control procedures and systems.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing processes and materials used in the industry.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and work environment.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 months of warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift/fork truck certified required.
