
Overnight Maintenance Technician

- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment and mechanical systems, adhering to prescribed procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Use diagnostic equipment to detect system or equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
- Install and repair specialty systems and equipment within the club, ensuring proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records and work reports on all maintenance performed, including pool and boiler chemistry and other related systems.
- Work as part of a team in the implementation of remodel projects, offering support in other trade areas when needed.
- Replace lamps, ballasts, and troubleshoot lighting systems, ensuring the club's lighting is functioning properly.
- Read, understand, and utilize blueprints, schematics, and plans to execute tasks efficiently.
- Provide audio/visual support for events on club grounds, ensuring equipment works seamlessly.
- Adhere to all club safety policies and procedures, demonstrating safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions or hazards.
- Exhibit a commitment to providing quality service to members and responding to their needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a trade apprenticeship program leading to a journey card or license, or the equivalent in education, training, and experience.
- At least 4 years of general experience in building/facilities maintenance, construction, or a related trade.
- Proficiency in minor electrical repairs, including replacing switches, ballasts, and outlets.
- Strong knowledge of tools and equipment used in general facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and HVAC.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing maintenance and repairs on building systems.
- Ability to understand and apply building mechanical systems and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, staff, and other departments.
- Ability to make logical decisions and work efficiently within a diverse team environment.
- Frequently walking, standing, climbing, or working on ladders for extended periods while performing inspections or repairs.
- Regularly bending, kneeling, crouching, or reaching overhead to access equipment or perform maintenance tasks.
- Lifting and carrying equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required.
- Using hand and power tools, diagnostic devices, and other technical equipment with precision.
- Working in varying environments, including mechanical rooms, confined spaces, and outdoor areas, sometimes in extreme temperatures or noisy conditions.
- Exposure to chemicals, dust, or fumes related to pool and boiler maintenance, cleaning agents, or other facility-related materials (with appropriate safety measures).
