In this full time, direct hire, salaried job you will support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) by developing data analysis products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Python-based data analysis tools to support GWS design and developmentPerform root cause analysis of software and system-level behaviors using available test and simulation dataCreate and present analytical products, reports, and technical briefingsWork with systems engineers to decompose requirements and define test objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical quality and integrationContribute to Bitbucket-managed repositories and software versioning workflowsTravel up to 25% in support of test events, program reviews, or customer engagementsQualifications:
U.S. citizen with Active DoD Secret security clearance
Bachelor's in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
Demonstrated Experience with Python
Ability to perform software root cause analysis
Experience with Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with object oriented programming languages
Requirements decomposition and testing experience
Experience with Test Objectives in Missile defense.
