Job Description:Maintenance ManagerReports To:Director of OperationsRequirements:Previous experience in Industrial Maintenance as a department supervisor or leader, preferably in chemical processing or surface finishing. A good understanding of local and state codes, regulatory, ASME standards and construction practices. General computer skills and Lotus Notes.Duties/On Job Training:Manages Maintenance personnel and department throughput. Prepares and analyzes reports for various department managers. Coordinates with various departments to schedule maintenance repairs, improvement projects and equipment installs. Promotes MacDermid policies and demonstrates a proactive commitment towards improving the facility EH&S standing as well as addressing ISO 9002, ISO 14001, safety and regulatory compliance requirements.Assists Engineering and EH&S with all phases of project development and implementation. Works with other department supervisors as well as operators on process improvement suggestions. Adjusts work schedule to fit the requirements of the project, task, and/or production demands etc. Assists maintenance mechanics when workload dictates.Works with department personnel in regards to personal and professional development. This includes performance reviews, training and discipline.
