Why Ampersand Therapy?Ampersand Therapy was founded by therapists who wanted to build the kind of company they wished existed—one grounded in trust, support, and shared purpose. We’re a small, women-led team based in Western Washington and Northern Colorado, working with schools from coast to coast.Because we’ve worked in schools ourselves—as therapists, contractors, and district employees—we know how important it is to feel seen, heard, and backed by your team. That’s exactly what we offer at Ampersand: real support from people who get it.We lead with heart and values:
  • Equity & Inclusion: We’re committed to creating spaces where all identities are welcomed and valued. We support anti-racism work in schools and donate to organizations like The Conscious Kid.
  • Community Connection: You’ll find us volunteering or supporting groups like Special Olympics, Project Canine, and The Moth. We encourage our team to give back in ways that matter to them.
  • Sustainability: We minimize waste, choose digital tools over paper, and maintain a carbon-negative footprint.
We’re not just staffing schools—we’re partnering with passionate professionals to make an impact. You might even see us on campus, collaborating and doing hands-on work alongside you.An Inclusive WorkplaceAmpersand Therapy is an equal opportunity employer.
