
Feed Testing Technician (Entry Level)

- Completing Quality control tasks for the feed department
- Analyzing feed and ingredients through a NIR on a weekly basis
- Capturing and entering QC data into the internal database
- Maintaining and coordinating sample collection and submission with internal mills and toll mills
- Setting up routine audits and visits to validate QC process of incoming ingredients or products
- Supporting the feed mills in testing corn micron size and providing support to maintain target micron size across all mills
- Audit all formulas for mills on a weekly basis to validate correct nutrient and ingredient levels with support of Nutrition specialist
- Supporting the nutrition and research department during times of large projects such as research support on site
- High School diploma preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Lab related or other agricultural experience preferred but not required
- Functional in Microsoft applications including Excel and Word

- The targeted base pay range for this role is $22 to $24 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
