In this senior role, you'll lead estimating efforts from preconstruction through bid submission while collaborating across teams to shape strategy and execution.
  • Lead and manage full‑scope cost estimating for commercial and multifamily construction projects from conceptual budgeting through finalized bid preparation.
  • Analyze project documents (drawings, specifications, RFPs) to develop accurate, competitive cost proposals.
  • Solicit, review, and coordinate subcontractor quotes and vendor pricing.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and assemble comprehensive cost breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and design teams to refine scopes, value‑engineer designs, and ensure estimates align with project goals.
  • Monitor and track estimates, maintaining up‑to‑date pricing and cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Present and justify estimates to leadership and clients, incorporating adjustments as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements-optimizing estimating workflows, templates, and software usage.

  • At least 3 years of professional estimating experience, ideally in commercial or multifamily construction.
  • Strong familiarity with estimating software tools-Procore, Bluebeam, and other digital take‑off or estimating platforms preferred.
  • Proven ability to perform detailed quantity take‑offs and construct cost‑effective, accurate bid packages.
  • Excellent communication skills-able to partner with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self‑motivated, collaborative, and adept at working in an ownership‑minded, team‑centric environment.
