- Create and maintain technical documents including:
- Product specifications
- Verification and validation plans and reports
- Risk assessments
- User manuals and guides
- Assembly and manufacturing process procedures
- Revise legacy documents to align with current standards and migrate them into the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system, ensuring full traceability.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and end users to gather and synthesize technical information.
- Ensure documentation adheres to company quality standards, formatting guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
- Support ECR/ECO processes through documentation updates, releases, and version control within the PLM system.
- Participate in documentation reviews to assess accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
- Coordinate translation efforts with internal and external partners to support multilingual documentation needs.
- Key Skills: Technical Writing, Adobe Acrobat, MyWorkshop PLM, PLM Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in technical writing, documentation, or a related field.
- Experience in regulated industries (preferably medical device or healthcare) with knowledge of documentation compliance and quality systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, user-friendly language.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with document control and PLM systems (e.g., MyWorkshop) is a strong plus.
