We hire individuals with excellent verbal communication skills and have the desire and ability to engage consumers by phone. Sales Development Representatives handle calls with consumers actively seeking life and Medicare insurance products, and we meet their needs with top-rated insurance carriers. You will learn to execute a proven approach to assess their insurance needs, determine their eligibility, and transfer them to licensed insurance agents. Continual coaching and development will ensure success and prepare you for future advancement, including becoming a licensed agent.Sales Development Representatives work from home with our advanced technology cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate has at least one year of sales experience and is motivated, confident, self-disciplined, an excellent communicator, and interested in accelerating their career.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop rapport and a great first impression with prospective customers
Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls to prospects who have requested quotes for insurance
Handle and overcome objections to successfully transfer consumers to licensed insurance agents
Meet or exceed monthly call transfer goals and other key performance indicators
Abide with state regulations and comply with company policies and procedures
Serve as a brand ambassador
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent oral communication skills
Outstanding phone presence with an ability to create trustful engagements
Competitive in nature and a self-starter
1+ years of sales experience (mainly where consumers may have been reluctant to buy), preferably in a call center environment
Ability to work in an exciting, fast-paced, and performance-driven environment
Computer proficiency, including simultaneously navigating multiple monitors and applications
Ability to learn and adapt to changes quickly
High-speed internet connection
Two (2) years of education or High School diploma
