The primary responsibility of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide data-driven insights and useful analyses to support the organization’s financial goals. This role is responsible for forecasting and reporting revenue and expenses, financial planning and analysis, as well as handling certain reporting responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial analysis, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively and succinctly.Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain accurate revenue, expense, and inventory forecasts, using historical data and market trends
  • Analyze financial data to identify key drivers and trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of forecasts
  • Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Prepare and assist in the completion of the annual budget plans, STRAP, and monthly/quarterly business reporting
  • Timely and accurate budget and forecast inputs aligned with corporate reporting requirements, including loading to HFM/CMR and PLN.
  • Prepare financial models and scenarios to evaluate the financial impact of various business decisions
  • Monitor and report on sales and other key performance indicators, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement
  • Interpret data and clearly communicate business insights that are understandable to non-financial stakeholders
  • Perform financial statement analysis and variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement through processes and automation, using available systems and emerging technologies to increase controls and efficiencies
  • Limited travel for leadership and sales meetings and trainings
This position is located at the IDD North America headquarters in our Portage, MI office.Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or related focus
  • Master’s degree, CFA, or CPA preferred, but not required
  • 4+ years experience in financial analysis or finance preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking, and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while adapting to changing needs of a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information verbally and in writing with all levels in the organization
  • Ability to work with various systems and data sources to capture and assimilate required information
  • Comfortability with large amounts of data and the ability to identify key trends, variances, and summarize with a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, experience with Power BI is a plus
The starting salary for this position is $109,000 - $125,000 annually with a target 10% annual incentive bonus plan in addition to a range of other employee benefits
