The Facility Supervisor supports day-to-day operations within the distribution center, with a focus on receiving, put-away, inventory integrity, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment. This role leads a team of hourly associates, drives safety and quality standards, and works cross-functionally with other departments to meet daily operational goals. The Facility Supervisor ensures execution of processes in line with company standards and fosters a positive, team-oriented workplace.Key Responsibilities:Operational Execution
Supervise daily inbound and put-away processes to ensure timely and accurate handling of finished goods.
Maintain 5S standards across assigned areas and uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety.
Monitor and help achieve daily KPIs (productivity, accuracy, safety, etc.).
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment and work areas meet operational and safety standards.
Team Leadership
Lead and direct hourly associates, providing on-floor coaching, guidance, and support.
Assist with scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring attendance and performance.
Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment; escalate issues to management as needed.
Partner with the Facility Manager on training, development, and corrective actions.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce company safety procedures and ensure associates follow protocols at all times.
Report and assist with investigations of any safety incidents, hazards, or equipment concerns.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on the floor.
Communication & Coordination
Communicate shift goals, performance expectations, and changes in processes to the team.
Collaborate with internal departments (HR, Inventory, Customer Service, Compliance) to resolve issues.
Participate in daily startup meetings and provide feedback from the floor to leadership.
Other Duties
Assist in special projects, audits, and process improvements as assigned.
Support receiving or other departments as needed based on workload and staffing.
Qualifications:Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree or vocational training preferred
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
