Essential Functions/Duties:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Partners with business leaders regarding HR programs, policy changes/updates, efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitates Talent Management programs (career development planning, performance management, talent assessments and succession planning).
  • Oversees and administers all compensation changes and employee-initiated changes in BambooHR and other systems.
  • Maintains and administers changes, updates and compliance with policies and employee handbooks.
  • Oversees Onboarding process, and facilitates and administers Admin new hire pre-onboarding paperwork.
  • Assists with sourcing, interviewing and selection of Salaried Exempt-level positions.
  • Maintains monthly/quarterly HR metrics and prepares monthly HR reports (turnover, staffing, terminations).
  • Assists with managing and preparing the company's Affirmative Action plan and other government reporting (EEO-1).
  • Administration of our referral program, “who can you recruit”.
  • Facilitates Internship requests and program.
  • Facilitates training and development initiatives and programs including Associates Training program.
  • Administers annual salary increase and incentive plan cycle.
  • Handles employee relations matters.
  • Responsible for office management including office repairs and office maintenance.
  • Supports the overall initiatives of the Human Resources functions and duties (employee activities, events, Wellness, developing department goals, objectives and processes.

Education, Skills, Experience:Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or similar field, or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and the ability to learn new software systems as required.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (BambooHR preferable)
Desired:
  • Five (5)+ years’ experience with recruitment, HR administration or other related experience within the Human Resources field.
  • PHR or SHRM certification
Base Location/Travel Requirements:
  • Work Arrangement: Telecommute (Home office with regular work at the York Office as required).
  • Occasional travel as necessary to other offices or yard locations, trainings and offsite meetings.
  • Additional customer related travel may also be required at customer facilities.
Safety/Work Environment:
  • Perform all work in accordance with IB Abel’s safety policies.
  • The work is performed in an office environment with minimal noise, depending upon the operation of various office equipment; this will include phones, scanners, copiers, etc.
  • Physical demands include walking, sitting, bending, stooping, vision – close and distant with or without corrective lenses, lifting – 25 pounds minimum.
  • Capable of operating various types of office equipment including but not limited to computers, copiers, and scanners.
