- Receiving incoming shipments, unload materials, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing lists.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Accurately log received items into the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with procurement and quality teams to resolve receiving issues.
- Label and store items in appropriate warehouse locations following company procedures.
- Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and labels.
- Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track orders and update delivery status in the system.
- Communicate with vendors and logistics providers to resolve transportation issues.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Record, reconcile, and investigate discrepancies in inventory levels.
- Maintain proper inventory documentation and update records in inventory management systems.
- Support inventory optimization by monitoring stock levels and recommending reorders or disposals.
- Assist with picking, packing, labeling, and organizing products for storage and distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in warehouse areas.
- Follow established procedures for material handling and equipment usage.
- Enter logistics data into systems accurately and timely.
- Generate and distribute inventory and shipments reports.
- Support audits and compliance activities related to logistics and inventory control.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required: Associate degree in logistics or supply chain preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role.
- Familiarity with inventory and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage)
- Strong attention to detail with good organization and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing between 10 to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift, sit/stand up) if certified.
