Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen or Green Card HolderJob Overview:As a 2nd Shift Packaging Line Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of Packaging Operators to meet production goals while ensuring strict adherence to cGMP standards, safety policies, and product quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in pharmaceutical packaging, preferably in a generic drug manufacturing setting.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of packaging operators to deliver optimal productivity and process reliability.Ensure operations are executed efficiently and meet the quality standards required.Coordinate with the Packaging Supervisor to achieve daily production targets.Monitor line performance and maintain accurate productivity records.Oversee proper material flow and ensure line stations are operating continuously and efficiently.Conduct compliance checks for GMP, SOP, OSHA, and DEA standards.Assign and delegate daily responsibilities within the team.Verify all incoming and outgoing packaging materials.Maintain clear, accurate, and complete documentation and logbooks.Act as the shift supervisor in their absence when needed.Work overtime or weekends as required.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Must-Have Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in pharmaceutical packaging.Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs, and FDA/DEA compliance in a production environment.Prior leadership or supervisory experience on a packaging line is preferred.Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).Ability to work the 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM) consistently.Nice-To-Have Qualifications:Experience working in a generic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Previous exposure to high-speed automated packaging lines.Familiarity with line balancing and continuous improvement practices.Physical & Working Conditions:Stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).Lift up to 10 lbs regularly; up to 49 lbs occasionally.Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.Work in a noisy manufacturing environment (PPE provided).Salary Range:$20.50 – $29.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
