- Serve as Project Manager on the industrial fulfillment and distribution sector, with specific responsibility for supporting high profile clients.
- Lead client-facing engagements to interpret program requirements, identify goals and objectives, and develop design strategies aligned with project scopes.
- Coordinate and oversee all phases of design and documentation, including proposals, design criteria manuals, and construction documents.
- Supervise internal team members and coordinate efforts with consultants and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Implement current building and construction technologies into clear, concise, and comprehensive construction documents.
- Manage the Construction Administration (CA) process, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, conducting site visits and punch walks, and producing site visit reports.
- Uphold and advance firm design standards across all project deliverables.
- Collaborate in the development of template documents and design criteria to support consistent quality across projects.
- Deliver work within fast-paced schedules and adapt effectively to evolving client direction, ensuring clear communication with all project stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently across varying phases of development.
- Professional degree in Architecture required.
- Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience working directly with clients on architectural projects, including developing proposals and design documentation.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, consultants, and AHJs.
- Strong technical skills in drafting, modeling, and detail development for construction documents.
- Proficient in Revit; experience with BIM 360 cloud-based collaboration is preferred.
- Solid understanding of applicable building, fire, and energy codes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage shifting project priorities and convey direction clearly to design teams.
