Job Title: Professional Acquisition Program EngineerLocation: Eglin AFB, FLCanvas, Inc. is seeking a Professional Acquisition Program Manager to join our team at Eglin AFB, FL! The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills with software and digital tools. Canvas provides engineering services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. This position is contingent upon award.Duties:
  • Review and analyze user requirements and formulate knowledge solutions
  • Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations [JSD] tailored to all levels of the organization
  • Provide engineering support to conduct formal trade studies based on engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life cycle cost, producibility, reliability, maintainability, risk, and schedule
  • Provide technical recommendation support services, including reviews, studies, audits, evaluations and analyses, scientific and procedural guidance, documentation, technical analysis, and support of associated engineering IPTs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (ABET accreditation required)
  • Ability to learn and incorporate feedback to improve processes.
  • Ability to learn new digital tools and processes and communicate that information to the work force in an effective manner.
  • Strong soft skills; approachable, team player.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Office software or basic engineering programming languages (Office 365, SharePoint, Matlab, Atlassian, Access database, SQL, JQL) desired.
  • Configuration management experience desired.
  • Provide proposal analysis support services that compare and quantify training and knowledge sharing approaches desired.
